Locksmith Truck Circa 1958

Since inception Douglass Truck Bodies has epitomized the motto “Built to Fit Your Needs.”  A prime example of this is the 1957 Chevy with a custom Douglass Truck Body built for Snider’s Cyclery.  Pictured is Lloyd Snider, second generation proprietor.  The body was built encompassing the daily needs of the shop, included are special hooks on the rack to hang bicycles for repairs.  Lloyd could go from re-keying an entire house from the back of the bed to something as simple as changing a bike chain in a matter of moments.
