9′ Custom Douglass Canopy Body built for a 60″ cab-to-axle DRW Ford F450. Built for search and rescue, this truck features a custom boat rack on the roof of the cargo enclosure. Rack straps were added to secure the rescue boat while in transit and rollers assist bringing the boat down from the rack when needing to be deployed. Area lighting is located on either side of the rack along with branch guards to prevent damage to the lights when driving through overgrown areas, and either side has securing points for oars.
Additionally this unit has a full extension, 2200lb capacity pull out cargo glide enclosed in the rear for gear storage and other items. The front compartments are linked through a pass through for litter storage and the other compartments have ample shelving space for other items and gear. Finally there was remote locks added for easy locking and unlocking of the compartments on the fly.
