8′ Custom Douglass Truck Body with Flip-Tops

8′ Custom Douglass Truck Body with Flip-Tops built for a 56″ cab-to-axle DRW Ford F-350. This custom build features 13″ deep flip-top compartments without dividers, designed to open from the cargo area for easy access. An elongated horizontal compartment on the driver’s side provides additional storage, while custom-sized mechanic’s drawers keep tools organized. This unit is equipped with a 123-gallon wet tank topped with a custom open basket, along with a recessed wheel well box designed to accommodate an air hose. The rear compartments feature angled bottoms for improved clearance and reduce wear. A custom cab protector shields the cab from shifting cargo and includes pre-drilled mounting points for customer-installed lighting. Rigid flush-mount D-Series pods are integrated into the rear bumper without requiring cutouts, delivering strong, reliable job site illumination. Aluminum diamond plate overlays protect the tops of the compartments while a durable bedliner coating enhances longevity across the cargo area and bumper.
