Body Specifics
Our standard Douglass Maximizer Crane Body are built suitable for class 3, 4, and 5 cab-and chassis with an 84″ cab-to-axle measurement.
Flip-top compartments come optional on the driver’s side of the body, giving you additional storage that’s easily accessible, and the crane side is a flat “closed top” style. Our basic interior configuration includes fully adjustable shelving and heavy duty mechanics drawers.
Designed with the end-user in mind, any size mechanic body can be easily customized compartment by compartment.Your interior configurations can be upgraded with Equipto bolt bins, welding torch bottle compartment packages, roll out trays for pumps, generators, and other special equipment. Configuration can also include a rear work platform with a “V-Notch” channel or a flat top.
Standard F-Series Maximizer, 10′ Crane Bodies: Can accept up to 3,500 lb cranes. Rear work platform that can be upgraded to accept a box between the frame rails as an option.
Standard G-Series Maximizer, 11′ Crane Bodies: Can accept up to 8,000 lb cranes. Available with a through compartment in the rear work platform or box between the frame rails options.
Standard G-Series Medium Duty Maximizer, 11′ Crane Bodies: Can accept up to 14,000 lb cranes. Available with a through compartment in the rear work platform or box between the frame rails options.
